The Euthaniads
It is 2094, and Yotto and Dieter work for a government assisted-dying service as ‘Euthaniads’ – death-aids who meet each applicant’s dying wish without influencing their ultimate decision.
Mikayla Prior finds the service and applies to die. When she reveals her reason for doing so Yotto and Dieter respond very differently.
A three-act play about how mental illness intersects with euthanasia, and asks what professionalism, bureaucracy, and empathy look like when death is just another job.
ALAMEIN
A series of four short monologues from four people who all know Alamein. This is a foreboding, slightly surreal look at how one person can have a huge impact on those around them.
ANDY & THE DOG
When gay male psychologist, Andy starts to develop a drinking problem that threatens his job, his childhood beanie-baby dog toy, Waggles McTaggles, revives to try and save him.
Below is a gallery of an early six-page reading of Andy & the Dog at La Mama Scratch Night early July 2023. Photography taken by Darren Gill.
